We have people travel long distances, many times from out of state, to attend this comprehensive class. When needed, we will assist with overnight lodging. In this class you will learn masking and scene building, tips to repair images, how to use the tonal applicator and blending tips to color your scenes, framing and detailing your cards. You will be working on coated cardstock. Participants must bring a tonal applicator stamp, 3 or more colorbox stylus handles with 6 or more unused white oval blending tips, detail scissors, assorted clear acrylic blocks including one long (2.5"x8") and one large (4"x6"), 6" soft rubber brayer, Art Institute dries clear adhesive and detail tip, and tape runner. Several cards will be made using a wide range of techniques. This class is for experienced stampers only, although you need not have any scene building or color blending experience. If you need to purchase a supply pack, we will give you a discount. Visit our Stampscapes Gallery to see samples of these techniques. Lunch, bottled water and a sweet tray is included. $100.00.
Copic Marker Basics for Card Makers
Watch for upcoming
dates.
Trena Brannon teaches this class. Former
student evaluations gave her only high marks in every
category.
Trena teaches the basic Copic blending skills, and
then allows participants time to practice them. During this time she
offers coaching for those who have questions or problems. The
students will be able to choose from a variety of both Christmas and
all occasion stamping images from JustRite, and will be allowed to
stamp and color at their leisure. Masking and airbrushed backgrounds
will be taught. Some will complete many images, while others may
complete only a few. Students will be allowed to choose 3
designs to have die cut, and will be provided with the supplies
to assemble these 3 later, at home, thus maximizing their time
to work on their technique. Participants must
bring their own Copic markers. Shown below are some all occasion
cards which have been created in previous classes. You will notice
that space has been left to add your sentiment (i.e. Happy Birthday,
Thank you, etc.)
WE ARE HOPING TO GET TRENA TO RETURN WITH
AN ADVANCED CLASS!
WATCH FOR UPCOMING DATES!
