QuickScapes Half Day Class $50
8:00am to Noon.
BEGINNER SKILL LEVEL, open to all skill levels. In this class you will make several cards using several techniques. Most stores would classify this as an intermediate class. I call it a beginners class because anyone, even those who have never held a rubber stamp, are welcome to join us and will leave with not only many new skills, but also a nice variety of very nice cards. You will learn to make brayered backgrounds and beautiful stamped cards requiring little or no masking. You will learn to do basic masking to build scenes, and you will learn to use a stamp positioner and pens to repair images. You will learn to use the tonal applicator to create darkened edges to frame your scenes. You will learn to use stipple brushes to quickly blend your inks to make some really nice cards. Participants must have their own tonal applicator stamp, detail scissors, 6" soft rubber brayer, a pair of the #2 or #4 German stipple brushes, and acrylic blocks to be used with unmounted stamps. This should include at least one large and one long acrylic block. If you need to purchase a supply pack, pre-order it when you register for the class and get a discount.

The Skies Of Stampscapes $30
Beginner Level Class
Includes a series of cards which were created as the theme for and make and takes for the 2012 Rockford SSAT Stamp Show. Features various sky images and dramatic scenes in a monochromatic color scheme. You will mask to build your scenes, and embellish some of them with self-adhesive gems. You will make 8 different cards. Participants must bring adhesive, detail scissors, exacto knife and various acrylic blocks including a large one that is at least 4"x6". Class will be approx. 3 hours.

Basic Stipple Brush Blending $25
Beginner Level Class
In this class you will learn to use stipple brushes for basic color blending. Once you master the technique, you will make 3 greeting cards, two simple and one complex. Participants must bring adhesive and German stipple brushes. You should bring at least 4 stipple brushes, either size #2 or #4, and if you have more brushes, we encourage you to bring them. Class will be approx. 1.5 to 2 hours long.

Hand Blended Backgrounds $25
This is not a typical Stampscapes class, but is a good beginner's class for those who are interested in progressing on to an intermediate or advanced Stampscapes class. In this class you will use Clearsnap Stylus handles and white foam blending tips to create hand blended backgrounds. You will then use both Stampscapes and other images and verses to make attractive, inspirational cards. You will make 3 cards.

WinterScapes $25
For experienced stampers. This is a great Christmas card class, or cards for any winter occasion. The scenes feature bare branched trees, evergreens, cold, crisp monochromatic color, and cold, icy glitter. Techniques include masking/scene building, glittering, and use of the tonal applicator ti add simple, layered color and dark bordering. Suitable for beginner/intermediate skill levels. Three cards are made.
